
Cherry Nut Loaf

- 1 1/2 Cups Sunsweet Dried Cherries
- 1 Cup Chopped Walnuts
- 1 1/3 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Butter
- 1 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
Bring the water to boiling. Add the butter and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl combine the eggs, sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
Add the cooled water/ butter and stir until combined. Stir in the flour and baking soda then the Sunsweet dried cherries and chopped nuts.
Pour into a greased 9" x 5" loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes until golden brown.
