stewed prunes

Ingredients
  • 2 cups Sunsweet prunes
  • 1 lemon
  • approx. 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions

1) Place the sunsweet prunes in a small pot.
2) Pour water in the pot over the prunes. Water should be enough
to entirely cover prunes.
3) Squeeze lemon in pot.
4) Bring to boil, turn down to low and simmer for approx 30 minutes.
5) Add honey to taste.

6) Turn off heat and remove from stove. Let cool naturally and then refrigerate.
